What is EV fleet charging?

Fleet charging is the process of restoring power to a range of vehicles that form part of a business’ fleet. Power can be restored by plugging the vehicle into an EV charge station.

What is a Level 3 EV charger?

Level 3 charging is the fastest type of charging available, offering a rate of 3 to 20 miles of range per minute. Level 3 is capable of fast charging times because it uses direct current (DC), unlike Level 1 and Level 2 charging that use alternating current (AC)

What is an EV fleet?

An EV fleet contains vehicles that run partially or completely on electric battery power. EV fleets can include battery electric vehicles (BEVs) and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEVs). Electric vehicles are a more sustainable option compared to internal combustion engine vehicles (ICEs).

Do electric cars lose charge when parked?

Electric vehicles do lose charge when parked although this is generally minimal. Ideally, your vehicle should have around 65% of battery power before being parked and not in use.

Multisite rollout with load management systems used to facilitate the number of chargers desired by the Mazda showrooms, crucial for ensuring that the maximum power output potential of the chargers would not exceed that of the main building.

Johnsons
